I'm on Instagram and Facebook!

Yeap, I finally did that.

Sometimes, a lot of time passes between posts with finished artworks, so I've decided to share a bit more about my life and process. As always on Instagram, there will be selfies, food and duck faces among art related stuff.
Not sure yet what kind of special stuff I'll post on Facebook, so for now there are reposts from my  Instagram and Blog, but I'll definitely find something very special to post there.

Everything is changing

Pencil and white pastel on toned paper

Once I've bought a white pastel pencil. When I've took it home and tried on paper - I was completely disappointed. The pastel was too soft in tone and hard to erase. The pencil was tucked on the darkest shelf. The next day I've returned to the art supply store and bought a perfect white chalk pencil - bright, sharp and easy to erase.
Years have passed and now the white pastel pencil is my favorite.

Tip on how to become more confident

I've got a small trick that I use before I draw. 

Always starting with a small caricature sketch helps me to observe the tones,lines and other features without being too responsible for the end result.

This helps you to have a better mood and become more confident, because you will already be more familiar with the person you would draw. Plus it is fun thing to do.
